Abstract

The paper presents a mathematical method for calculating the diameter of the boundary grain depending on the structural and technological parameters of the hydrocyclone. The aim of the work was to establish rational parameters of the suspension separation process. It was found that in order to achieve a significant separation effect, the diameter of the boundary grain should be within 30-40 µm.
