Abstract

Even at low concentrations, heavy metals (HM) have a negative effect on zoo - and phytoplankton, accumulate in bottom sediments, affecting to some extent all organisms without exception. Accumulation of harmful substances by fish tissues poses a threat to the human body through fish products consumed in food. The article was devoted to the quantitative assessment of HM content in water, bottom part of non-flowing water body, fish. It was established that there is their accumulation in the muscular and gill part of fish with a general relatively low content of heavy metals in water.
