Abstract

The article discusses the nitrogen metabolism violations in needles of Pinus sylvestris L., Picea abies L. and Picea pungens Engelm., provoked by chemical pollution. The proline amino acid accumulation in vegetative mass of mentioned plants depends on destruction products contention of chemical agents in the soil. This dependence allows us to determine the pollution level of the agricultural land.
