ON THE ISSUE OF REDUCING THE ENERGY INTENSITY OF CHICKEN MANURE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The urgency of improving equipment for processing chicken manure into organic fertilizer is due to the extreme energy intensity of the technology, in which a product containing 90-93% dry matter is obtained from raw materials with a humidity of 40-75%. The design and technological scheme of the proposed unit will significantly reduce the energy intensity of the chicken manure processing technology due to the synergistic effect of the interaction of its extrusion and vacuum components. The implementation of this scientific hypothesis is proposed by using an electric heater in an autogenous extruder and replacing its screw working body with a screw one.
